Story
For four years, San Francisco cop Jack Cates has been pursuing an unidentified drug kingpin known as the Ice Man. Jack discovers a photograph that reveals the Ice Man has put a price on the head of Reggie Hammond, who is set to be released from prison the next day. This forces Jack to seek out Reggie for his protection and assistance in catching the Ice Man.
Summary
Another 48 Hrs (1990), directed by Walter Hill, is a sequel to the 1982 film '48 Hrs'. It follows San Francisco detective Jack Cates, played by Nick Nolte, as he continues his pursuit of the notorious drug lord, the Ice Man. When Jack learns that the Ice Man has targeted Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy), a convicted criminal with whom Jack previously worked, for assassination upon his release from prison, Jack must enlist Reggie's help to protect him and catch the Ice Man once and for all.
