Story
Simon, an intelligent and privileged young man from Manhattan, feels neglected by his reserved father and suspects his stepmother of having an affair with him before his mother's death. In a cry for attention, Simon engages in petty crimes leading to his expulsion from home and subsequent enrollment in boarding school. There, he befriends Andrew, who introduces him to the hippie lifestyle, marijuana, LSD, and a world of free-spirited individuals. Simon is drawn to this newfound freedom and meets Jennifer, Trace, and Kevin at his first concert.
