Willie T. Stokes, an alcoholic con man posing as Santa Claus, partners with his pint-sized accomplice Marcus to rob department stores annually at Christmas time. This year, their plan goes awry due to several distractions: Willie's attraction to a bartender named Christine who has a thing for Santas, the unwanted attention of a wisecracking store detective, and the unwavering belief of an impressionable kid named Thurman that Willie is the real Santa Claus. Despite these obstacles, Marcus remains loyal to Willie, trying his best to keep their heists running smoothly amidst Willie's heavy drinking and constant mishaps.

Directed by Terry Zwigoff in 2003, 'Bad Santa' is a dark comedy that subverts the traditional Christmas film genre. The movie follows Willie T. Stokes, a foul-mouthed, alcoholic criminal who poses as Santa Claus to rob department stores annually with his accomplice Marcus. Unlike typical holiday films, 'Bad Santa' offers a cynical and humorous take on the season, exploring themes of redemption, friendship, and the struggle between self-destructive tendencies and personal growth.
