Five juvenile offenders from diverse backgrounds - J.L., Ruben, Moss, Dorcey, and Carlos - are sent to the Everglades for survival training by an Indian Vietnam veteran named 'Indian Joe' Tegra as part of a rehabilitation program. After completing their training, they move into a rundown house in Miami's slums. However, this house is claimed by loyal customers of local drug baron Cream, leading to a bloody gunfight. Unbeknownst to the boys, Cream works for the powerful Miami drug lord Nestor, who also has Carlos' girlfriend Nikki captive.
