Battlecreek (2017) is a drama directed by Alison Eastwood, one of Hollywood's few women directors. Set in the small Southern town of Battlecreek, the film follows Henry, a young man with a rare skin disease who has been sheltered by his fiery mother throughout his life. When Alison, a mysterious woman, arrives in town and catches Henry's attention, their connection inspires him to step out of his comfort zone and challenge the confines of his protective upbringing.
