Jennefer, beaten and abused by her boyfriend J-Rod, gives birth and leaves her child up for adoption before fleeing to Toronto. She meets Ola, a street prostitute who takes her in to avoid arrest for vagrancy. Ola introduces Jennefer to prostitution to make money, but they must contend with Hassan, a demanding pimp who controls their lives. When Hassan kills one of the girls, he faces resistance from Ola and the others, as well as pursuit by a relentless detective. Meanwhile, J-Rod arrives in Toronto, seeking Jennefer to take her back or kill her.
