Corky, a tough female ex-convict working as a plumber in an apartment renovation in Chicago, crosses paths with Violet and Caesar, her neighbors who are in a problematic relationship. Violet, attracted to Corky's strength, starts an affair with her while Caesar is unwittingly laundering money for the Mafia boss Gino Marzone. The two women hatch a plan to steal $2 million from Caesar before he returns it to Marzone. They set up Caesar as a scapegoat in their scheme, but things begin to unravel when Caesar reacts unpredictably to the setup.

Bound is a neo-noir thriller directed by Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski in 1996. Set in Chicago, the film tells the story of Corky, an ex-convict turned plumber, who becomes entangled in a web of deceit with Violet, her neighbor and lover, and Caesar, Violet's mobster boyfriend.
