Story
Set in Brooklyn's rough Brownsville neighborhood and the Van Dyke housing projects, 'Brooklyn's Finest' follows three unconnected NYPD officers as their paths converge towards a deadly climax. The first officer, Sal Procida (Ethan Hawke), is a family man struggling with his wife's pregnancy while trying to provide for them. He becomes entangled in corruption after being tasked with guarding a bag of money meant for dirty cops. Meanwhile, the second officer, Eddie Dugan (Richard Gere), is on the brink of retirement and looking to score one last big bust that will set him up financially. His greed leads him down a dangerous path as he plans to rob the very same bag of money Sal is protecting. The third officer, Tango 'Cash' Styles (Don Cheadle), is an undercover cop working with a notorious drug lord named Caz (Wesley Snipes). As Tango tries to balance his loyalty between his job and his criminal associates, he becomes increasingly conflicted about his role in the department's corruption.
