Zusammenfassung
Caged (2011) is a Dutch drama-thriller directed by Stephan Brenninkmeijer. The film explores themes of self-discovery, sexual liberation, and the potential consequences of a hedonistic lifestyle. After years of suppressing her desires, the protagonist Stella breaks free from societal norms and embraces a secret life as a 'unicorn', a term for single women indulging in erotic activities. While initially supportive, Stella's husband becomes concerned as her behavior continues. The story takes a dark turn when Stella finds herself imprisoned with another woman named Christine, who believes Stella's captivity is linked to her new lifestyle.
