When a young Native American woman is brutally murdered in rural Los Angeles County, her sister McKenna becomes the new keeper of an ancient amulet, the sacred crescent, which imbues her with the powers and spirit of the raven, a force for good battling against evil. Reluctantly, McKenna accepts this role as 'the chosen one.' She discovers her newfound abilities include an insatiable thirst for milk and heightened sexual energy, which she shares with her former boyfriend Henry, now a cop. Meanwhile, the spirit of the wolf inhabits Rose, Henry's jilted lover, causing havoc until McKenna confronts Rose in a final showdown.
