The movie 'Dumb and Dumber' follows two friends, Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels), who are known for their remarkable stupidity. They come across a briefcase containing $1 million dollars at an airport in Providence, Rhode Island. Believing it belongs to Mary Swanson, a beautiful woman they meet briefly, they decide to return the case to her despite not knowing where she lives. Their journey takes them on a cross-country road trip from Providence to Aspen, Colorado, filled with comedic mishaps and misunderstandings along the way. After a series of adventures involving car accidents, run-ins with criminals, and various other misfortunes, they finally arrive in Aspen only to find out that Mary is already engaged to someone else. Meanwhile, they unwittingly attract the attention of two dangerous criminals who want the money for themselves.
