Story
The story follows Louisiana football star Gavin Grey, who had a brilliant career in college football and was named an All-American champion. He marries his high-school sweetheart, Babs Rogers, who was also the homecoming queen. After his professional career fails to take off, Gavin struggles with the realization that he is no longer the hero everyone expects him to be. This dissatisfaction strains his marriage, leading Gavin to question his identity and what he truly wants in life.
