Farscape follows American astronaut John Crichton who accidentally travels through a wormhole while testing a experimental spacecraft, landing him in an alien battlefield on the other side of the universe. Captured by the biomechanical alien creatures called the Peacekeepers, he escapes aboard their ship Moya, inadvertently freeing a group of prisoners including Ka D'Argo, Zhaan, Rygel, and Pilot. Unable to return home, Crichton becomes part of this unlikely crew as they flee across the galaxy trying to evade the pursuing Peacekeepers. Throughout four seasons and 88 episodes, Crichton learns to adapt to his new surroundings while trying to find a way back to Earth.
