The movie 'Fickende Fische' follows 16-year-old Jan who loves Shakespeare, water, and fish. He meets Nina, a vibrant and unconventional 15-year-old, when she accidentally knocks him over while roller-skating. Feeling guilty, Nina becomes close to Jan, sharing his fascination for water and fish. They start secretly meeting at night in the municipal aquarium to observe the fish, which leads to a tender romantic relationship. However, Jan's parents disapprove of their relationship due to concerns about Jan's health. Meanwhile, Nina discovers her father's girlfriend is pregnant, causing her to flee to Jan, leading to their first sexual encounter. Jan then withdraws into his dream world after realizing the danger he poses to Nina. Despite this, Nina persists in pursuing their relationship.
