Story
In 'Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan,' the iconic horror villain Jason Voorhees finds himself aboard a teen-filled cruise ship bound for New York City. As the voyage progresses, Jason begins his bloody rampage once again, turning the ship into a floating nightmare. The surviving teens eventually make it to Manhattan, where Jason continues his killing spree through the city's streets and sewers.

'Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan' is the eighth installment in the long-running 'Friday the 13th' horror series. Unlike its predecessors, which were primarily set in the woods of Camp Crystal Lake, this film shifts the action to a cruise ship and later to the streets of New York City.
