Get Carter (1971) is a British-American neo-noir thriller directed by Mike Hodges, based on the novel 'Jack's Return Home' by Ted Lewis. The story follows Jack Carter, a tough London gangster played by Michael Caine, as he returns to his home town of Newcastle upon Tyne after learning about his brother's death.
