After surviving an encounter with a serial killer who tries to murder her, newswoman Karen White is sent to recover at the secluded Marwigi Institute in Northern California. Upon arrival, she finds strange occurrences and discovers that the residents of the nearby town of Drago are hiding something sinister. It's soon revealed that they are part of a secret society practicing lycanthropy, turning into werewolves when they howl together. Karen becomes entangled in their deadly rituals as she tries to expose the truth.
