In Madrid, a young boy named Juan is terrified by a monster called Hollow Face, but his mother cannot protect him despite summoning Father Antonio to perform an exorcism. Meanwhile, in London, construction worker John Farrow shares a close bond with his teenage daughter Mia. One day, while visiting her grandparents' house in the countryside, Mia finds a story about Hollow Face hidden in a tree. Soon after, she sees the monster in her bedroom closet and John defends her. However, when they are attacked again, their security camera shows no intruder, leading some to question whether Mia and John might be delusional.
