In 1945, during World War II, the Nazis created an immortal werewolf creature through cruel experiments in a secret laboratory near Berlin. When the Red Army destroys the lab, the beast remains buried but alive beneath the ruins. In present-day 2012, punk rock legend Spike Jones and his friends enter the old Nazi lab to clean it up for a reunion concert of his band. Unknowingly, they free the werewolf from its prison, and the creature begins a relentless war against humanity once again.

Iron Wolf (2013), directed by David Brückner and Jens Nier, is a horror film set in two distinct time periods: the final days of World War II and present-day Berlin. The story revolves around a supernatural creature created through Nazi experiments, which returns to wreak havoc after being freed from its underground prison decades later. Punk rock legend Spike Jones serves as a catalyst for the creature's reemergence, as he leads his friends into the abandoned laboratory where it has been dormant. The film explores themes of humanity's role in unleashing destruction and paying the price for past atrocities.
