After civilization succumbs to a deadly pandemic and his wife is murdered by Commander Stone, John Wood, a special forces soldier, retreats into the Nordic wilderness as a hermit. Last Man Down (2021) is an action-thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a deadly pandemic.
