After his girlfriend Georgia's murder by European mobsters, Sam flees to Paris for safety. Years later, he spots a woman in a Hollywood film who appears identical to Georgia. Driven by curiosity and perhaps hope, Sam travels to Los Angeles to investigate. There, he meets Kat, with whom he impulsively teams up.
