Story
Hua, a late-twenty-something woman from China studying in Paris, becomes involved with men who physically harm her. The story begins when she is dumped by her lover and wanders the streets until she encounters Mathieu, a French construction worker who accidentally hits her face with pipes he's carrying. Apologetic, Mathieu invites Hua to dinner, but later rapes her as they leave the restaurant. Despite this, the two begin an affair driven by intense sexual desire.
