Based on the 1972 Charles Bronson film of the same name, 'Mechanic' is a remake that follows the story of an elite assassin named Arthur Bishop. Played by Jason Statham, Bishop is a professional with a strict code requiring perfection and detachment in his work. The film takes a suspenseful turn when Harry McKenna, Bishop's close friend and mentor, is murdered.
