Story
Mortelle randonnée follows aging private detective Beauvoir who is tasked with investigating Catherine Leiris, a beautiful woman suspected of killing and robbing her wealthy husbands on their wedding nights. Despite never confronting her directly, Beauvoir becomes intrigued by Catherine's resemblance to his unknown daughter. As he tails her, he feels an inexplicable connection to her, even believing they share telepathic communication. In one instance, Beauvoir inadvertently causes a bus accident that kills Catherine's artist husband, whom she genuinely loved.
