Jennifer, a young mother, finds her life abruptly disturbed when she receives an urgent letter from her postman, mentioning a mysterious need. Upon returning home with groceries, she discovers that her elderly neighbor and son's babysitter has vanished. Adding to her distress is the delivery of a disturbing death poem and compromising photos of her husband and the missing babysitter. Overwhelmed, Jennifer takes a bath but wakes up on her apartment floor covered in blood and body parts. A mysterious masked man appears, promising to guide her towards enlightenment. The rest of the film follows Jennifer's descent into physical and mental torture.
