"Bae Doona's essence is captivating; she was born in Seoul, South Korea. Daughter of a stage actress, she was initially noticed by a model talent agency but later embraced acting, following her mother's path. Known internationally for 'The Ring' (1999), which featured Naomi Watts stateside, Bae's career took flight post that hit film with 'Plum Blossoms' (2000). This coming-of-age drama sparked interest due to its three explicit sex scenes. Bae then starred in 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' (2002), riding a green-haired guy cowgirl-style, and 'Air Doll' (2009), playing a sex doll brought to life. Her breakthrough came with 'Cloud Atlas' (2012), her first Hollywood film, where she played a clone bearing all. Bae's role in the Wachowskis' sci-fi series 'Sense8' (2015) as Sun Bak showcased her multiple times, including shower and sex scenes that revealed her physique."

Geschichte
