Amy Lou Adams, born August 20, 1974, is an American actress known for her comedic and dramatic roles. She began her career as a dancer in dinner theatre before making her film debut in 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' (1999). Her breakthrough came with the independent comedy-drama 'Junebug' (2005), earning her first Academy Award nomination. Notable performances include leading lady roles in 'Enchanted' (2007) and assertive parts in 'The Fighter' (2010) and 'The Master' (2012).
