Anna Sawai (born June 11, 1992) is a Japanese-New Zealand actress and singer who began her career at age 12 playing Annie on stage. She debuted professionally as an actress in 'Ninja Assassin' (2009) and later joined J-pop girl group FAKY as a lead vocalist from 2013 to 2018. Sawai gained recognition for her role in the BBC series 'Giri/Haji' (2019) and was signed by WME in 2019. She has also appeared in 'F9' (2021). Born and raised in New Zealand, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, Sawai moved to Japan at age 10 and was influenced by her parents' musical tastes.
