Anna Silk, born January 31, 1974, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, began her acting career after graduating from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Of mixed British and Turkish Cypriot-English expat heritage, Silk started in theatre before moving to Toronto in 1999. She made her television debut in 2000 and landed recurring roles in Canadian sitcoms like The Newsroom (2001) and series such as Smallville (2003), Stargate Atlantis (2006), and The L Word (2007). Silk gained prominence playing Bo Dennis in Lost Girl (2010-2015), earning awards for her role. She has appeared in films like The Wicker Man (2006) and Assassins Tale (2013). Silk is married to Seth Cooperman, with whom she has two sons.
