Ashleigh Jensen starred as Walter, a middle-aged TV actor known for his role in a cult fantasy show, in the 2018 film 'Funny Story'. In the movie, his character attends the woodland wedding of his estranged millennial daughter Nic and becomes involved with Kim, one of Nic's friends, after a drunken night out. Walter faces conflict over whether to reveal their encounter to Nic, who is unaware that Kim is her intended bride. Throughout the film, Walter also navigates Nic's unconventional female friends.
