Doutzen Kroes, born on January 23, 1985, in the Netherlands, began her modeling career in 2003 and quickly moved to New York. She became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2008 and has been a L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador since. Kroes is considered one of the 'New Supers' and has earned millions annually since 2008, reaching $8 million in 2014 (Forbes). Notably, she was not scouted but discovered after sending holiday photos to Paparazzi Model Management. Her career breakthrough included being featured on Vogue Italia's cover in 2005 and winning 'Model of the Year' on Vogue.com the same year.
