Ela Velden began her acting career in 2013 with a role in the Mexican television series 'Gossip Girl: Acapulco'. She initially auditioned for the role of Jenny Parra but was later cast as Gaby in a recurring role. After the show's cancellation, she appeared in episodes of 'Niñas Mal 2' and 'Como dice el dicho'. In 2014, Velden landed her first telenovela role in 'Muchacha italiana viene a casarse', playing the younger sister of the main character after learning Italian for the part. The series aired on Canal de las Estrellas from October 2014.
