Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (born March 27, 1970) is an American actress known for her roles as Dr. Juliet Burke on 'Lost' and FBI agent Erica Evans on 'V'. She was born to lawyers Josephine Marian Mitchell and Joseph Day Mitchell in Dallas, Texas. Mitchell graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. She had recurring roles on 'ER' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', and starred in films like 'The Santa Clause 2', 'The Santa Clause 3', and 'Gia'. Mitchell was married to actor Chris Soldevilla from 2004 to 2013, with whom she has a son.
