Full Biography
Emma Cohen (Emmanuela Beltrán Rahola), born November 21, 1946 in Spain, was a versatile figure in Spanish language cinema and television. Initially studying law but abandoning it for acting, she became known for her role as Gallina Caponata in Barrio Sésamo. Married to Fernando Fernán Gómez until his death in 2007, Cohen also wrote screenplays and published books. She appeared in various films including 'El espanto surge de la tumba' (1973). After a battle with cancer, she died on July 11, 2016, aged 69.
