Funda Eryigit, born and raised in Turkey, began her acting career after graduating from Istanbul University's State Conservatory Theater Department and International Relations department. She won the Best Actress Award in the Musical/Comedy category at the 18th Sadri Alisik Theater and Cinema Player Awards for her role in 'Silence' during the 2012-2013 season, and was nominated for the 17th Afife Theater Awards. She gained recognition through her roles in various TV series such as 'Poyraz Karayel' and 'Canim Ailem', but she is most known for playing Esra in 'Gecenin Kralicesi'. Her movie credit includes 'Tereddüt (2016)', directed by Yesim Ustaoglu, where Eryigit plays a young psychiatrist navigating her personal and professional life.
