Hunter Schafer, born on December 31, 1998, is an American actress and model who gained attention as a transgender rights activist against North Carolina's HB2 bill in 2016. She began modeling for prominent fashion brands in 2017. Schafer made her acting debut as Jules Vaughn in the HBO teen drama series 'Euphoria' (2019–present), which explores themes of drugs, sex, and violence among high school students through the relationship between Rue and Jules. She has since starred in films like 'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes' (2023) and 'Cuckoo' (2024), and will star as a co-lead in the upcoming sci-fi television miniseries 'Blade Runner 2099'.
