Ines Pellegrini, born in Milan but raised in Eritrea, debuted in 'Il brigadiere Pasquale Zagaria ama la mamma e la polizia' (1973). She gained prominence as Zumurrud in Pier Paolo Pasolini's 'Arabian Nights' (1974) and appeared in his final film, 'Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom' (1975). Pellegrini starred in Italian genre films like 'Eyeball' (1975), 'La madama' (1976), and 'War of the Robots' (1978), appearing in 16 films between 1974 and 1981. She moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1980s, opening an antiques shop and promoting volunteering.
