Ivana Baquero Macías, born and raised in Spain, began her acting career at age 11 when she was chosen by director Guillermo del Toro to play Ofelia in 'Pan's Labyrinth'. This role earned her critical acclaim and a Goya Award for Best New Actress. Later, she portrayed Aurora in 'The Little Death' (Demonios tus ojos), playing a lively student living with her mother who captures the attention of her older half-brother Oliver.
