Jacqueline McKenzie, born on 24 October 1967 in Sydney, Australia, is an accomplished Australian actress. She debuted in 'Wordplay' (1987) and made a strong impression with her role in 'Romper Stomper' (1992). Over the years, she received multiple Australian Film Institute Award nominations for roles like 'Stark', 'This Won't Hurt a Bit', 'The Battlers', and 'Traps'. She won two awards in 1995 for 'Halifax f.p: Lies of the Mind' and 'Angel Baby'. After securing a US Green Card, she appeared in films like 'Deep Blue Sea' (1999) and 'Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood' (2002). She played lead roles in TV series 'The 4400' from 2004 to 2007 and appeared in 'Umney's Last Case' (2006). In 1996, a portrait of McKenzie by Garry Shead was a finalist in the Archibald Prize.
