Jennifer Starr was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is the daughter of supportive parents Dave and Audrey Starr. At age 18, she moved to Los Angeles to attend AMDA; College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts with a scholarship. While at AMDA, Jennifer decided to pursue a career in stunt work alongside acting and modeling. She took courses in stage combat, sword work, and weaponry, and later received certification in multiple swords and unarmed work.
