Jennifer Warren (born August 12, 1941) is an American actress and film director. Born in Greenwich Village, New York City, she is the daughter of Paula Bauersmith, an actress, and dentist Barnet M. Warren. Her uncle was Yiddish theatre actor Jacob Ben-Ami. Warren graduated from Elisabeth Irwin High School. She married producer Roger Gimbel in 1976, with whom she has a son, Barney. Gimbel passed away on April 26, 2011. Warren made her Broadway debut in '6 Rms Riv Vu' (1972), for which she won the Theatre World Award. She appeared in films like 'Slap Shot', 'Night Moves', and 'Ice Castles'. Warren has also directed two features: 'The Beans of Egypt, Maine' (1994) and 'Partners in Crime' (2000). Her television credits include numerous made-for-TV movies and appearances on shows like 'The Bob Newhart Show' and 'Murder, She Wrote'.
