Josie Bissett, born on October 6, 1970, started her career at age 12 as a model in print advertisements and television commercials. At 16, she moved to Japan for further modeling opportunities, then went to Hollywood at 17. Within two years of arriving in Los Angeles, she landed the role of 'Cara' on 'The Hogan Family'. She rose to prominence on 'Melrose Place', subsequently appearing in various TV movies and series, including 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit'. Her film debut was in Oliver Stone's 'The Doors'. Bissett has also hosted shows like 'The Balancing Act' and 'Parenting & Beyond', and been a spokesperson for Neutrogena and Dr. Scholl's products.
