Julie Gayet, born on June 3, 1972 in Suresnes, France, is an actress and film producer. She studied art history, psychology, circus skills, and operatic singing before starting her acting career at age 17 in London. Her notable roles include 'Delphine 1, Yvan 0' (1996) and she has also performed musical duets. In 2007, she founded Rouge International production company. She is known for her activism, supporting François Hollande's presidential campaign and same-sex marriage. Gayet was married to Santiago Amigorena from 2003 to 2006, with whom she has two children.
