Kathryn Elsbeth Erbe, born on July 5, 1965, is an American actress best known for her roles as Alexandra Eames on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Shirley Bellinger in Oz. She gained recognition for her role in the 1999 film Stir of Echoes, where she played a hypnotist who inadvertently causes her brother-in-law to have visions of a ghost seeking answers about its death.
