Kelly Rowland (born Kelendria Trene Rowland on February 11, 1981) is an American singer and actress who gained fame as a member of Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups worldwide. After the group's hiatus, Rowland released her debut solo album 'Simply Deep' in 2002, which sold over 2 million copies globally and spawned hits like 'Dilemma' with Nelly and 'Stole'. She also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as 'Freddy vs. Jason' (2003) and 'The Seat Filler' (2004).
