Her breakthrough role came as Jenny Gardner in 'All My Children,' followed by a leading part in 'Tour of Duty.' However, she is best known for her portrayal of Detective Diane Russell in the acclaimed series 'NYPD Blue,' which earned her an Emmy Award.
