Marie Liljedahl, born in Stockholm, Sweden, began her acting career at age ten and joined the Royal Swedish Opera ballet at twelve. Discovered by director Joseph W. Sarno while dancing with a Stockholm ballet company, she started her film career at seventeen with 'Inga' (1968), which made her an international sex symbol. She appeared in films like 'Eugenie... The Story of Her Journey into Perversion' (1970) and 'Dorian Gray' (1970). After appearing in a sequel to 'Inga', she retired from acting at twenty-one, expressing regret for her roles in sex films years later. She also appeared in two Playboy pictorials.
