Olya Zueva, born in Vladivostok, is an actress who lived and worked in New York from 2006 to 2016. She trained under Susan Batson and studied filmmaking at The New School. During this time, she acted in episodic roles like 'Orange is the New Black', played the lead in Anna Melikian's short film 'Such a Mood', and directed her own shorts. After moving to Moscow in 2016, she took on the leading female role in 'The Coach' (2018). Her character in 'Trash Can on the Left' reflects her past roles with casual sexual encounters in New York City.
