Pamela Adlon, born July 9, 1966, is an American actress known for her extensive voice work in animation, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for voicing Bobby Hill on King of the Hill (1997–2010). She also voiced Ashley Spinelli on Recess (1997–2003) and Mrs. Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory. Adlon is notable for her roles in comedy-drama series such as Californication (2007–2014), Louie (2010–2015), and Better Things (since 2016), which she co-created, writes, produces, and directs. Her films include Say Anything..., Bumblebee, and The King of Staten Island.
