Radhika Apte, an Indian film and stage actress, began her acting career in theater with the troupe Aasakta in her hometown before transitioning to films. Her first notable role was in the Bengali film 'Antaheen' (2009), followed by her Marathi debut in 'Samaantar'. She gained recognition in Bollywood after roles in 'Badlapur', 'Hunterrr', 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man', and 'Phobia'. Apte starred as one of the leads in the 2015 film 'Parched', set in Rajasthan, India, which revolves around four women struggling with societal norms and personal demons.
